ABOUT JOSE

Jose Duran is a Bolivian-born, Miami-raised, NYC trained actor. He is based in Los Angeles. He attended the William Esper Studio from 2014 to 2016 where he studied with Bruce McCarty and Suzanne Esper. He made his New York stage debut at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre in the play, Cupids. Under his production company, Luminous Path Films, he has written and starred in various projects most recently the sci-fi family drama Dark Deco. He landed a lead role in the upcoming Bolivian drama Tu Me Manques, which was the country's official selection for the 2020 Academy Awards. Giving back to his community is a vital part of his life. He's an active volunteer at outreach programs like NY Cares and The 52nd Street Project.
